Introducing ads

January 8th, 2009 by admin

As you know we’ve been providing Moneytrackin’ as a free service uninterrupted since May 2006, and over 60,000 people all around the world have been using thus taking advantage of it.

Our idea is to keep Moneytrackin’ always free, but it’s complicated considering the current global economic situation. That’s why we are introducing advertisements for testing purposes in order to check how they perform, and see if we can cover some basic expenses such as the servers’ monthly cost.

Hope it doesn’t get too annoying, of course if you have something to say don’t hesitate to tell us!

    Guys,
i think there are two important things that you can do.
    1. introduce a small fee for those who don’t want to look at the ads.

    2. upgrade the iphone app and charge for it. if it could work offline it w would go like hot pies.

I always agree with ads, and there is no problem to have ads in such a great tool as Money Trackin.

Keep up the good work, guys, and have yourself some money.

P.S.: I’m from Brazil and want to help with translations and maybe PHP coding and sugestions.

Hi! Yeap, it is very important to be financial stable. Donate plus ads for my opinion could help. But donate requires transparency…
If return to ads, I would like to get local things of course, not general stuff. You could use my tags but with my permission in config and without personal data plz.

If you’re going to add ads please make a paid Pro account without them as others do.

Please, give also the option of a paid service. I really use the tool for keep my travel expenses and now it has really become a value-added service.

Also, perhaps having a paid service you could add some enhancements.

    Great work

An option to make a donation to the project would be nice.
