New feature: Attach files to transactions
July 9th, 2007 by admin
We have added the possibility to attach a file to a transaction. For example now you can upload the invoice of that new laptop you bought last week, so you won’t lose it never (and some shops ask you for the invoice before processing any guarantee request!).
At the moment only images and pdf files are allowed, and the maximum permitted size is 3Mb.
Attaching a file is a very simple process:
-
Click on the new “Attach file” icon (
) of the desired transaction.
-
The upload form will be displayed. Just enter a file description, choose the file to upload from your disk and click on the “Attach file” button.
-
If the upload finishes successfully you’ll be returned to the transaction list and you’ll see the clip icon (
) at the left of the chosen transaction. It’ll tell you that the transaction has an attached file, and clicking it you would open/download it. You can also remove the attached file by clicking on the “Delete attachment” icon (
). If the upload process fails the error message would be displayed.
