Introducing the dashboard

June 1st, 2007 by admin

Many of you requested the possibility to view your overall financial situation at a glance, thus, we are launching the dashboard.

Note that there are two different views on the main page now, the classic transaction list and the dashboard. You can change from one to another just by clicking on the desired tab.

The dashboard is composed by a set of boxes showing some useful information. You can reorder the whole layout by dragging the boxes around as your own convenience, and you can fold/unfold them as well. The arrangement will be saved and remembered next time you log in back to your account.

The most important box is the summary, where you can see the list of all your accounts and their balance. We also add all the balances up to the Total balance value. If you had projects on different currencies the total value will be calculated converting all balances to your default currency for an easier understanding.

On the right side there is a plot showing the balance history for the last year. Once again, the values are converted to your default currency.

Then there is a different box for each account. It shows the last 5 transactions, the tag cloud and finally the established limits (in case you’ve entered any).

Stay tuned because we are going to add new cool functionalities to the dashboard soon!!
