Some numbers about the translations. Portuguese wins!

November 20th, 2006 by admin

Last friday we uploaded our new collaborative translation system. It has proven to work quite well:

475 phrases has been translated into 9 different languages.

A language can be choosen on the app when it passes the 50% completed threshold, and Portuguese has done it only in two and half days, raising the percentage to 71% with 251 translated phrases. Keep up the good job!

Please give it a try and translate some phrases for us, it’s very simple and fun to do.

Well, I was wondering how do you validate the translations and how often is it done. I’ve translated some of the phrases into polish and wanted to continue though I am stuck waiting for the older translations to be validated. Keep up the good work.

    Peter,

We get automatically notified when new translations are entered, so normally they’re validated every few hours.

Anyway, the translations wouldn’t show up on the page until the language translated porcentage passes the 50% threshold.

    Thanks and keep up translating!

    It’s only a joke!
