More features

October 31st, 2006 by admin

We’re working hard on moneytrackin’ and pumping out new features on a daily basis.

Here are the new ones:

- Currency support. You must set your currency on sign up time. It’ll become the currency for your main account, and the selected one by default when creating new accounts. Obviously you can change it and set different currencies for different accounts.

- User preferences. Now you can change your contact e-mail, your currency or your password by clicking the new icon on the toolbar.

- Fast navigation. We’ve added two little select boxes so you can navigate faster to a given month/year.

- More usability enhancements. Now we open almost everything on their own window.

October 26th, 2006 by admin

Now we are displaying a random user quote on the initial page, below the “Take a tour” and “Sign up” buttons. They are all real quotes sent to us by moneytrackin’ users, and can be useful to know what are people using moneytrackin’ for. Below the quote we’ve added also a link to read all of them.

Bad news for the translations

October 25th, 2006 by admin

Update 11-17-2006: Solved! Please see this post

We are continously adding more and more features and fixes every day, so it’s getting impossible to handle the translation of all the strings that we’re adding/changing.

Remember that all translations were made by volunteers, and we can’t be asking them to translate some strings on a daily basis.

For the time being moneytrackin’ will be only available in english and spanish, until we find a way to troubleshoot this.

Export to excel feature

October 10th, 2006 by admin

You can export the transactions to a spreadsheet file. It’s very easy: just click on the export icon ico_export.gif, choose the project and time range and you’ll be prompted to download the file. Right now you can export only in excel format, PDF will be added very soon (as well as import).
