Monthly limits

September 21st, 2006 by admin

Here is a new way to control your budget, we call it ‘monthly limits‘. From now on you can set a limit amount on each tag you want, and they will appear on the main screen with a percentage bar showing you how much limit you have consumed on the current month.

You can either specify a spending limit (a negative amount) or a revenue objective, where the bar will be showing how far you are from reaching it.

We added also the ‘insert new limit’ form on a window, we think they are more confortable than the old way (with all stacked up on the main screen).

Expect more windows like this to come! We are going to transform all forms into windows some day.

Thanks to Vladimir, we have uploaded another translation: Bulgarian.

We are very thankful to all the volunteers for spending some time translating our app into their languages.

Tag’s pie chart rebuilt

September 7th, 2006 by admin

We have changed the pie chart behaviour today, because it wasn’t able to handle a big number of tags (and it made no sense to display all their related info, the list growed too much).

So how is it working now?

We decided to show only the ten most relevant tags from the user tagcloud (either expenses or incomings), then we group the rest into “other expenses” and “other incomings”, to print them also on the chart.

Hope it gets clearer now.
