next steps: our todo-Work in progress list

July 1st, 2006 by admin

We are currently working on (random ordered):

  • Periodic payments & bills
  • Currencies support
  • Future estimated payments
  • Edit delete projects
  • Per-tag month limits
  • New plots ‘a la’ google trends style to compare things
  • Import / Export module (XML,CSV)
  • More translations
  • Various moneytrackin clients (Cellphone / PDA, firefox plugin, system tray app, …). You can help on this! Visit the api section
  • Bug fixes!
  • and much more…

With that number of features being added, we’ll need to reconstruct the whole menu layout too, so it would become a lot more clear and usable

is it possible to have a POSTIVE chart pie and a NEGATIVE ?

Could you also included the ability to make an itemized budget?

  3. admin Says:

What do you mean with ‘itemized budget’?

  4. turkeypants Says:

What I mean is to be able to input what I want to spend per month per tag/category. For example is I want to set a $100 budget for food I can track how close I am to that $100 through out the month.

  5. admin Says:

This is the feature we call “Per-tag month limits”. The aim is to establish a budget limit for each tag, and in mo.neytrack.in generate bar charts to show how close you are to the tag budget limit.

We are working on this feature

Nice product and great upcoming features. Is it possible to also add savings as individual item? I know it can be done as separate tag savings under which one can negative value out of total earning but when I want to see saving for whole year around, I can’t see it.

May be user can be given option to add different heads under which they add expenses and earnings but they can compare everything on monthly/yearly basis? I want to compare what I spent on whole year on one particular item to compare around.
